The Tampa Elks Lodge #708 is the Elks Lodge in Tampa, Florida. Established in 1902, we have a long history of service to the community & the nation.We actively provide free outreach programs to the Youth of Tampa Bay, the Veterans at James A. Haley VA Hospital, the Athena House (for homeless women veterans)and we are a sponsor of the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County. Our State and National projects include a 385 acre, top-rated summer camp in Umatilla,Florida where many under-privileged children are sponsored by lodges throughout the country each year. Our “Mobile” Therapy vans provide freeorthopedic and disability therapy to children, in the comfort of their own home throughout Florida. We are very active in the Elks Nationwide Hoop Shoot andSoccer Shoot competitions in which over 3 million kids participate each year.
